Office Install Question

Question

I want to install MS Office (2007) via a TechNet subscription on a Windows 7 (x64) computer. For Office 2007, TechNet is only giving me the option of downloading a CD image file (.iso) and additionally, it is only providing x86 versions. The one exeception is a multi-language version which is available in the x64 format.

Will I be able to install the x86 version onto Windows 7 x64, or will I have to go with Office 2010?

You're fine installing either version.

For what it's worth, Office 2007 only comes in x86. It installs fine on both x86 and x64. Office was not available in an x64 architecture until Office 2010.

I'd agree with guitmz here, just download the multi-language x64 version...
