Random web sites requesting Goole

Question

Hi,

I use the Google toolbar and all of a sudden and for no apparent reason many random web sites give me the IE9 yellow warning windows that states the site is attempting to use the Google Toolbar or the toolbar notifier. Can this be normal? Should I run a virus/malware scan or even perhaps uninstall google toolbar altogether?

System was perfectly clean on Sunday as that was the last time I scanned.

Thanks,

I multi-scanned the whole system and came up with nothing. I will just uninstall Google toolbar and reinstall it to see if it keeps happening.

Thanks,

Not really a fan of toolbars, and the google toolbar I don't see a need for since searching a specific search engine, be it google, bing, yahoo is built right into every browser now. So what is the point of that bloat of 3rd party toolbar?

But I would be happy to help you verify if normal, I do have ie9 installed and could install the toolbar - what website(s) have you visited that kicked off this warning?
