Guest GraphiteCube
Hi. I will get my first Windows Phone 7 device tomorrow (LG E900). I have some music files in WAV format, I found that Zune doesn't support WAV so I coudn't put it into Zune and sync. the music to WP7 device. I wonder what should I do to sync. the music while keeping the sound quality? Can I put the music files onto WP7 device without using Zune? If not, I am looking for a solution to batch convert my WAV files to WMA Lossless. I tried fre:ac (http://www.freac.org/), but it has WMA 9 Lossless and WMA 10 Professional encoder, which should I use? Thanks a lot!

~Johnny
But is it lossy or lossless codec? Thanks. If it doesn't ask for a bit rate you're probably encoding to a lossless file.
wongogue
But is it lossy or lossless codec? Thanks. There are 4 different WMA codecs: 1. WMA 2. WMA 10 Professional 3. WMA 9 Lossless 4. WMA 9 Voice All are supported by Windows (DirectShow)/Zune/WMP/Silverlight.

I understand that they are supported, but I want to keep the music quality, so I want lossless codec. In your list, WMA and WMA 9 Voice are lossy codec. Anyway thanks. chadsss
I use WMA 9 Lossless format for keeping my music compatible with Zune, and to make sure my music is of highest quality. If i remember correctly, WMA 10 Pro is a lossy format.
