redrope
I dont care about sharing this idea with you guys since I dont have the money to do anything with it. We have all these stores like the Apple Music Store and the buy.com one or whatever, but couldnt there be a real store, like Sam Goody, where you go in to a computer and you go to a computer, choose 15 songs or so from a large collection, like Apple's, burn it to a CD, and then pay for each song you burned? They could even have these things at like Best Buy or something. Or you could choose to burn a whole CD for like 8 bucks or something so that its cheaper than the actual CD, but since you dont get the packaging and everything which some people care about (includiny myself), you save money. Anyway, seems like an obvious idea, but just wanted to know if it could work. :D
nicedreams
That's actually a good idea. Of course someone might use that idea. There are many idea's I wish I patented, but never did just thinking up ideas.
hornett
Sorry to break it to you but I've seen something like that already, I think it was in the Topshop in Oxford Street. That was about a year ago, I'm not sure if it's still there.
redrope
I never said I thought it hadnt been done before, because it seemed obvious. I hope it exists somewhere. It would be cool to be able to sit down, burn a few tracks you want, and get out.
uniacidz
Was done ages ago in Australia, where you could go to a music retailer and ask em to create a cd with the choice of songs and pay for the songs and pay per song. Think it was Brashs or Strand Music, but was a very long time ago, prob about 10 or so years back. Anyhoos
Eli
I think some friends of mine are doing that where I live....I can go to their house and take a bunch of songs and burn them to Cd......they don't charge much either. OH I GET IT.....A legal idea.......Nevermind I have no friends.
