I was hoping that this software: http://drp.su would make my life easier when installing drivers for new systems. Actually, someone had shown me a "Cobra Driver Pack" DVD, and shortly after, I found out that Cobra was just a repackaging of DRP. However, every time I try to run the DRP DVD, the window pops up with IE script error dialogs, mostly about non-existent objects. I tried this in a couple PCs, and had the same problem on all of them.
However, if I run the DRP files straight off the HDD, it works fine. That's weird enough as it is, but DRP was made to be run off a DVD, AND to top it all off, the original bootleg Cobra DVDs I was playing with actually worked just fine, so what gives? What am I doing wrong? I'd rather not have to copy the DVDs contents to the computer every time I want to use it.
Thanks in advance for any help
edit: I was playing around with it more, and I was wrong about it working when I copy it to the desktop. Not even that works. I thought that was the case, because I was able to run it off the HDD of one of my work stations. However, it doesn't work at all on customer PCs. And it doesn't work off the DVD on the workstation either.
