DrunknMunky Veteran Posted September 15, 2003 Veteran Share Posted September 15, 2003 hey ppl, I just bought RTCW for xbox and im very impressed at the conversion from pc to xbox. although....there is one down side, i think that the levels are too dark and its hard to see where your going, either that or i need to retune my tv. anybody else got the game or any views on it??? Briandl79
I haven't gone through the entire Xbox version of the game but it looks quite good (you can adjust the brightness). There are a few spots where it slows down slightly but that's the price you pay for a game that looks that nice. This game really excels in multiplayer (which I play frequently). If you haven't played it on Live then you haven't played it.

.....
Live is far better than PS2 online. As for RTCW, just turn up the brightness in the options, the game is quite dark. (most pc games and pc conversions are)
Boffa Jones Veteran Posted September 15, 2003 Veteran Share Posted September 15, 2003 Live is alot better...:) but rtcw is good, but you can tell that it is a pc shooter... Like the multi is alot better than the single player. NOt that the single player is bad its just not amazing. Liek the zombies blow ass when they die... Briandl79
Actually most games based on the Quake 3 engine tend to be dark (for some reason I don't know), as we've said just turn up the brightness in-game.
ozgeek
I bought RTCW (Return to Castle Wolfenstein) for both the PC and the Xbox. I personally like the xbox version as it has more levels and weapons. the gamescreen is not too dark...maybe your TV?.

Chiss
I got Rtcw around when it came out, and love it. Probly my favorite XBL game at the moment. But with games like RS3 and Counter-Strike, I think the Rtcw comunity will go down.. Everyone will move to those games.
