KingCrimson
OS X just looks pretty and finished and consistent compared to Windows. Every single window in OS X looks the same, whereas you get all kinds of different UIs in Windows.
thenotavenger
But when will Mac sales double? When their prices halve. OS X just looks pretty and finished and consistent compared to Windows. Every single window in OS X looks the same, whereas you get all kinds of different UIs in Windows. So different colors is "all kinds of different UIs"? Max Norris
So different colors is "all kinds of different UIs"? Different colors, different themes, different shells, etc etc. I haven't looked too hard at what's available for OSX but a lot of them do tend to look very similar. Elliott
Every single window in OS X looks the same, whereas you get all kinds of different UIs in Windows. Not every single one (sometimes you get the crazy curveballs like the new iCal, Address Book, and GarageBand), but the UIs are definitely generally more consistent than in Windows. Growled Member Posted November 17, 2012 Member Share Posted November 17, 2012 I would love to have a Mac but I can't justify the price.

cooky560 Veteran Posted November 17, 2012 Veteran Share Posted November 17, 2012 Windows has already reached saturation in the market. The real question is what will XP users do when they finally buy a new PC? Will they buy Windows 8 or go Mac? Format it and put XP back on it of course!
