^^I had a friend who drives truck all day and ate these when they were available... He is still skinnier than I am. But he also works ALOT on his farm. The guy can eat whatever and however much he wants and still be healthy. Some people are able to do that... I'm not one of them.

Chad OchoCinco says eat what you want, and work out like your supposed to, you won't have a problem.

I want the Baconator ! , hehe as a non America, your obsession with burgers of that size drives me crazy ! :o

You don't want that tasteless crap. If you're going to eat unhealthily then you might as well do it right and get something that tastes great.

Do you understand the definition of correlation? Because that list is a textbook example of it.

Sorry, but what you said makes no sense at all as you didn't provide anything useful to the conversation.

If you're going to call something out, at least make an effort to give proof. By the looks of it, you have nothing...

Well the obvious answer is this: ale. We Americans don't drink much of it at all, while the Brits drink it like water. :laugh:

There's a reason for that. Have you tasted any of the American lagers? :shifty:

He might look thin on the outside, but he could still have high cholesterol and fat deposits around his internal organs. Appearances can be deceptive.

People lambasting American food aren't considering other factors such as food availability. I know a lot of immigrants that pack on the pounds because they can cook more food more often. My in-laws are a prime example when they come up for half the year from El Salvador. Ridiculous amounts of pupusas are consumed and tortillas with everything. They drown in carbs.

The seniors living at the facilities here in Westland have nothing like a bunch of potted plants lifestyle. They have 2 bedroom apartments, dances every weekend and they live more like a mostly-singles apartment building than anything else. Most have cars and the building is municipally run. Visitled a relative at one a while ago and the floor sounded like a college dorm :p

No, it's not a rich town - 50,000+ blue collar dominated by the Ford Focus plant (busy) and malls.

Observation from 30 years in the trenches;

US death rates for males are skewed heavily by African American men. This because of HIV, food preparation (much more fat & high salt in their traditional dishes - even more than US averages), and death by violence - usually gang and police confrontations tied to same among young urban men.

While only 13% of the population AA's are 50% of HIV cases; twice as likely to get cancer and diabetes, have a 30% higher rate of death from cardiovascular disease, 1.8x as likely to have a stroke, 2.3x the infant mortality rate, etc etc.

Sad, but true and it all adds up.

Always the voice of reason, Doc. I agree.
