Limp Bizkits New Album

Recommended Posts

HAHA you just contradicted yourself

You can hear there whole CD at no charge online,

they did a huge FREE show in europe in the summer

2 years ago they had numorous free shows, where they would go in to a random city, play on the top of a building call in a radio station with no PR work, most of them got broken up by cops, the one they had here was a blast. The problem isnt that bands bow to the all mighty dollar, its that people are uneducated on music (not you, in general) all it takes is one lyric now en days to totally warp someone's perspective on a mucisian. Sometimes not even that, its like the lead singer could say "go buy this" in an interveiw and our brainwashed youth will do just that. If the music sounds good, pump it.. even if it is a band whos been handfed by corperations since day one.

It's all about expression, ive been a limp fan since 1997 when i first heard three dollar bill, and the band today is not the same band, this new cd has more soul in it rather than just someon screaming about how they want to eat your face cause they had a bad day :D

and again, my opinion, dont listen if you dont like it.

and of course you didnt got my point, or maybe I didnt explain myself well, I was refering that nowadays bands just focus on making a good song or two to be the singles and sell the album instead of doing a whole good album... thats it

okay... hmmmmmmm so im finally here... the biggest bizkit biatch.

anyway i have no idea how saint dark even has decency to post this shiat...

first of all i just want to comment the things you said... they bow to the almighty dollar??? what are you talking about. you moron they redid a whole album because they wanted it to be better (and it is you know!), and they even had free concerts... so is that bowing to dollar... and off course they are commercial, but so is every other band on this planet. the bands that say they arent are just finding excuses for they failure... look man, even the music you like is commercial, NIN is nothing better than lb. every band sold out as soon as they signed the fooking contract. its a fact. AND THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. whats wrong is people like you.

and btw Eat You Alive isnt the best of the album, you should listen to it. there are good tracks. i do addmit that starfish was bad (itll be okay and some other tracks were good.. but it was too poppy), but theres a lot of good left in them. this album kinda reminds me on three dollar bill yall. its about the music. and nobody cant deny that.

so please give this album a chance. i think its going back to the roots of the bizkit.

just you listen.

yeah its great.... too bad im getting my cd version on monday. anyway saint fart youre a boring brat...

oh and btw just drop dead is on the eat you alive cd single (the complete version). i didnt really like the song. there's also another b-side, 'shot'.

as for the album the thing i like is that there are a lot of different styles, some songs remind me on three dollar bill yall, some on significant other, and almost none on starfish (and that IS good).

...you moron they redid a whole album because they wanted it to be better (and it is you know!)

They had to redo the album because it would've sucked. I'm just gonna take a guess here and say I bet Fred Durst isn't a very good guitar player. If you don't believe that then I know you'll believe that Wes is a much better guitar player and that had they released the album it would've sounded like ****. So what do they do? They go out and try to get huge guest appearances. I heard rumors of Page Hamilton and Head of Korn doing some guitar duties on the new album. That's just bad for two reasons. 1. The guitarist is a major part of LB's sound and to have guests come in and do it really takes away from the creative process of making an album as a group. 2. What do you do live? Again, you're getting other people to do it. Personally, I think the best person to play a song live is the person who wrote it. They're gonna understand exactly what they were trying to do on each riff and can also add embelishments on that riff to make for an even better live sound. My overall point is that they didn't really have a good album to begin with and that is why they went back and redid it. It's not because they have a #1 hit and they thought they could make it even better.

i really like mike smith's style. i gotta admit... i miss wes like a mofo though. but i watched that album launch show on craptv... i mean mtv, and it was cool how they all meshed and stuff.

there is a lot of songs that arent on the album that should be rls'd... crack addict is a tite song.

Fred has really matured in his lyrics on this alubm. I have heard a few of the songs already and he actually seems to be contemplating things now instead of just talking about being awesome.
