I'm looking for an Objectbar Replacement for Windows 7

Question

For years I have been using Objectbar. They no longer support it and it's been doing some weird things in windows 7 so i'm looking for a replacement. What I use it for is drop down menu's on the top of the screen. The included screenshot will show you what I mean.

So what i'm looking for is an app (preferably free) that can do that type of thing on the top of the screen.

Thanks

http://www.truelaunchbar.com/ (Don't be scared of the rather dated look)

It is basically Rainmeter for the taskbar/standalone bar. HIGHLY customizable... which leads to one problem... it's highly complex and has a bit of a steep learning curve with all the menu's (an insane amount of customization like padding, menu layout, alignment, color, title, columns, rows, scroll style, etc).

Also, there are some people sharing skins but I couldn't find many for your setup, but it is possible. If you get the program I can tell you how to set it up like shown in your screenshot or you can just hack your own using someone elses template.

Here are some of the skins people made just to see what's possible (I'm not sure if all of them are shared, though):

As for me, I use it to add some nifty tools to my superbar (universal media player, calculate (configured to show on icon hover and retains input after entry, folder, and weather):

It's a paid app but you can try the trial out and if you like it purchase it to get rid of the watermark.

Thank you. I downloaded it. Tried it, then bought it. Seems to fit my need.

Thanks!
