I have a bunch of photos I'd like to crop in various dimensions (in this case, a few standard monitor resolutions). Currently, the best way I've found to do this is to use a standard image editing program, like Paint.net, to make a selection equivalent to the needed size (which is an irritating process when doing things down to the pixel), and then resizing-to-scale the selection back and forth, until you find a suitable area to crop to.
It's all a very round-about and tedious process. I was wondering if there are any simple applications out there that are made specifically for this. Thanks in advance!
