turbomonkeycock Posted September 20, 2003 Share Posted September 20, 2003 Do net start messenger to allow you to recieve messages. Then, as said, do net send <name or IP> "Message" . This does work in command prompt, well it does for me, and the destination computer must have the messenger service started (please note, this is not MSN messenger as is commonly suggested) By starting the messenger service you may start to get the stupid annoying dialogue box adverts.
