.Kompressor
Anyone notice an increase in JAVA virus attacks ? Since the beginning of september there's been an increase in Java viruses that download naturally into your JavaCache folder when you visit sites that either have been infected or through some pop-up somewhere on the net. This one in particular has been making the rounds quite a bit.... Norton has detected and deleted this one below about 4 times in the last 2 weeks and a number of others have reported it on SUN's forums. However some virus scanners haven't detected it. Java.ByteVerify.exploit trojan Java is not very secure...programs can be executed in java applets to run on your system if not detected by scanners. So i've started making it a habit of clearing out my JAVA cache folder once a week. it can get quite large...and surprisingly this is one folder that's been overlooked by alot of cleaner apps. should really be emptyied on every reboot in my opinion.
