Liquid
I am purchasing my Inspiron 1100 soon, and I know it doesn't have wireless LAN, and I really don't like external stuff, so I am wondering if I can buy one othe Intel Wireless Pro 2100's for it. The laptop does have a mini-pci port. So will it work?
Frank
I believe as long as it has a open slot and the drivers that will work on that laptop it should. Does anyone know how well these cards work? Like ranges, powerconsumtion, and signal?

My neighbour bought a pretty much the same laptop, just centrino so it has that card and a pentium-m woo big whoop and I was supprised, the rage is awsome, went about 100m away from teh house outside, and it worked awsome, the router is right by the window, so there was nothing blocking the singnal but it worked great!
