Weird Attachments from Microsoft

just recieved 16 or so of these today.

are these viruses? should i delete them? i haven't opened any of them yet, except the first one, which read:

I'm afraid the message returned below could not be delivered to one or more destinations.

Undelivered message to julsxteek@puremail.com

Message follows:

Virus's... delete them all.

Microsoft never emails out patches. I have had about 20+ in the past day for some reason.

F'ing lousy virus makers :(

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE ATTACHMENT

just delete them :) ive had about 5 today. i also keep getting emails saying messages cant be sent, even though i have never sent the address a email :|

Keep your eyes open, what it looks like to me is that someone is trying to use your email account to send out emails, which is something you have to verify. Another "trick" they may be playing has to do with pretending that they are sending out email under your name, and then attaching a virus to it, trying to strike your curiosity. I would have a reputable virus checker such as Norton Antivirus, look though your system just to make sure. Its always better to play safe.
