How much for...

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I was just wondering how much would be a decent price to sell my gamecube for?

It is the Platinum GameCube Zelda: The Wind Waker bundle, Metroid Prime, 251 Official Nintendo Memory Card and Official Nintendo "WaveBird" Wireless Controller. All of it was bought at the same time in the second week of June. All are in PERFECT condition.

I just want to know what you think I should set the reserve at on eBay when/if I sell it.

Cheers all :)

Yeah it works well good :)

I have a wireless network (802.11g) and cordless house phone and have never had any problems. It is very responsive (I cant tell the difference between it and a normal controller) and the batteries last a good 4-6 months.

I had almost the exact same gamecube collection. (Black GameCube, Wavebird, Memory Card 251, Zelda: Wind Waker, and Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Master Quest)

I sold all of it to my local Game Stop for $108.

I'd say you should sell it for about 150 USD. Gamecube is getting its price cut so that means you have to sell it cheaper. About 100 USD after price cut and it comes with Mario Kart: Double Dash. So you should sell the GameCube plus Windwaker for about 90-100 USD. Plus Metroid which is about 50, but you could get about 20-30 USD for it. Then the WaveBrid and memory card. which you could get about 30-50 USD for it.

I think it isn't worth to sell because there are still many good games that are goig to be released. :)

aside from the fact that there are a ton of top notch games coming out within the next year, i think it really just isnt worth the trouble, or the cash to sell it. the price is dropping, so you won't be able to get rid of it all for THAT much. mario kart should be reason enough to keep the thing ;) but if not... ffcc, tales of symphonia, etc will rock your socks off. if you like rpg's that is... if none of the games coming out interest you.. and you really need the money.... i guess selling the thing is a reasonable option... otherwise, !!

Only the price cut is happening, the Mario Kart included for the new low price thing is an unsubstantiated rumor.

IGNCube has speculated Nintendo may restart a very limited time free game deal again for the Christmas season if they need to, but that's about it.

My advice is unless you absolutely LOATHE anything and everything about a console never sell it, you end up regretting it.

try and sell it for as much as you can get, believe me not alot of people know about these pricecuts.

He'll have to be quick. Ads go out in newpapers this weekend in the US, and word of mouth and the media will work fast to report on it. This news will reach all of Europe pretty quickly.
