I need printing software with custom print sizes for Windows 7

Question

Hello,

I bought a printer just to avoid the costs for photographs.

I'm looking for a program that has a large variety or supports custom print sizes.

I tried using Windows "Print Pictures" and Picasa but they do not have the custom print sizes I would like to.

I need a program similar to this: ACEF http://stufimedia.com/menudownload/39-download/63-acef-2-aplikasi-cetak-foto-versi-2.html

acef2.jpg

It's written in language I do not understand and it does not support custom print options

Also it would be nice if the program adds "lines" around each picture thus making them easier to cut.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Good luck. I was trying a while back to find some software to print an image at an exact size (not a standard one), and I couldn't find anything to do what I wanted.

Which programs did you try? I would like to avoid them by the way if you don't mind the CONS of ACEF, give it a try.

Good grief -- plain old MS Paint can resize and print images, to whatever you want.

While it's probably not an everyday approach, I do this quite regularly with CAD software, specifically AutoCAD and ArchiCAD.

@OP you might find it works well for you to set up a record action in Photoshop and use it to automate resizing and bordering your images.

Learn the relation between dpi and size.

Or just open the images in a photo editor and save it with cm values instead pixel values and you can print at the size you want. Just remember what dpi you save at and print at the same dpi. Or rather save in cm at the dpi of your printer.

Buka file in ACEF translates to "Save File".

Well I did that and then print with Windows photo print thus enabling me to print with custom options.

Any good OCR Greek product?
