I believe the Exchange server only downloads attachments when prompted to. No idea. Just using the Microsoft Outlook 2010 Startup wizard so far. EDIT: It appears to be set to 'MAPI'? I was under the impression it wouldn't load attachments at startup. I only use that setup on my phone and maybe the download part is what I think of as the setup so I never paid much attention to it.
