Shaun N.
Why does it? I don't get it? Is is supposed to be funny? I think this comment sums your thread up pretty well. Ermm... Windows 8 is an OS and is software. The iPad is a piece of hardware.

BajiRav
Why does it? I don't get it? Is is supposed to be funny? I think this comment sums your thread up pretty well. 1. The thread is in jokes section 2. Can you not see the picture? and what Windows 8 tablet is doing in that? I understand the difference between hardware and software but since there are no shipping Win8 tablets, I am ok with it. Then again for the people who suddenly realize Windows 8 is software not hardware, I would love to know there take on "Windows should have one edition like OS X" !!! Astra.Xtreme
Software is better than hardware? Pretty stupid if you ask me... All I see is an iPad hooked up to whatever Win 8 tablet that is, with it's screen on. It honestly don't jump out as to what the point of it is... Geoffrey B. Veteran Posted September 15, 2011 Veteran Share Posted September 15, 2011 lol then again the windows 8 tablet is a fully functional computer whereas any portable OS currently is a dumbed down version of an OS

+Dick Montage Subscriber² Posted September 15, 2011 Subscriber² Share Posted September 15, 2011 Sorry, what am I seeing? I can plug my iPad into anything with a USB port. So? Is the Win8 machine doing something special? I'm not trolling, I genuinely don't see whats going on!?
Bryan R.
I don't think you know what irony is. It's ironic that the iPad is using the USB port of it's competitor to charge itself given that it has no USB ports itself. (Not implying the iPad could charge itself if it did) It's just a stab at the fact the iPad lacks USB ports... It is ironic... Sorry, what am I seeing? I can plug my iPad into anything with a USB port. So? Is the Win8 machine doing something special? I'm not trolling, I genuinely don't see whats going on!? You couldn't plug an iPad into another iPad because they lack USB ports... The joke is that it is using it's competitor to charge itself.
~Johnny
Sorry, what am I seeing? I can plug my iPad into anything with a USB port. So? Is the Win8 machine doing something special? I'm not trolling, I genuinely don't see whats going on!? It's a tablet that's actually capable of doing something as simple as having a USB port :p It's just trying to show that Windows 8 tablets have the advantage of being proper computing machines, whereas other iOS and Android tablets don't. It doesn't take a genius to see what it's trying to say. And it's in the jokes section :p

Astra.Xtreme
To be fair, the thread title makes no sense, so that's probably why it threw people off. On top of that, all the picture shows is the iPad connected to the Win 8 tablet. There is nothing on the screens to indicate that one is charging the other, or syncing. It was a failed attempt, if anything. Just saying...
htcz
So the "joke" is that the iPad is connected to the Windows 8 tablet to charge/sync/activate/etc? That is it? Fail.
