sanctified Veteran Posted September 23, 2003 Veteran Share Posted September 23, 2003 This game is clearly showing two things: 1.- the raiders are not even a shadow of what the used to be 2.- Plummer have matured a lot as a QB 31 - 0 baby :)

devBrian
Plummer does this all the time, he has a good game, then 5 bad ones. Don't jump on his bandwagon too quickly as many people here had done... you'll just be disappointed.

CatnipOligarchy
the raiders had their shot last year, now they are too old.. gannon, rice, brown, romanowski, they are all good players, but there are loads of younger, faster, and better players in the league now. Oakland was outmatched tonight by a much better team. Oakland wont make it back to the super bowl this year, and they will be lucky to make the playoffs.. By the way I'm the biggest Broncos fan of all time! I lived in Colorado my whole life until 2 years ago when i came out to Arizona but my heart is still in Denver :)

leedogg
I think it was only a matter of putting a good qb with a good team. I dont care who you are, stick favre with like cleveland and he/they will still be hurting.

persianpsycho
i almost jumped on the raiders bandwagon last year when they went into the superbowl, but of course that was a big dissapointment. Its sad how they went from a team winning tons of games to this. They're local, but i dont really dig em, always liked the niners better anyhow. Denver is a much more complete team than the Cards ever were. Jake was the Cards offense for a long time. I think once he realizes he doesn't have to carry Denver, he'll do much better.
