Looking for point and shoot for night

I have been tasked at my company to try to find the best camera for our needs. We provide security at a college. We will need a small, easy to use point and shoot that takes good night shots. I mean with the flash and not necessarily without. We take a lot of pictures of damage to property at night so most of it is only a few feet away.

I do know a separate flash would be ideal, but that will not be an option. Any suggestions?

I have a Canon SD780 (760?). It work and is small. I would think just about any camera would suit your needs though.

The Canon Powershot SX230 HS is an awesome piece of gear, quite good for night stuff, too!

It has a manual mode, too, among GPS and a solid flash.

Go for it, you won't be disappointed and it's a good value but at stellar quality for a reasonable price.

My fianc? has it and both of us adore it. :)

Light's 52MP 'L16' 16 lens camera now has a final design, and is almost ready to ship
      by Timi Cantisano

It has been two years since the announcement of the L16, a camera that houses 16 lenses and can produce 52MP stills. The time has almost arrived for those that pre-ordered to get their product, with images of the final design being revealed in a new leak.

So what does the L16 offer beyond capturing a 52MP still image with great detail? The camera offers five times optical zoom which utilizes the array of 28mm, 70mm, and 150mm lenses that are available. The camera also promises to offer impressive low light shots, due to its array which will allow you to capture great detail and offer extensive depth of field adjustments. Furthermore, the camera will be powered by Android, has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and will get over-the-air updates.

If you're interested, you'll want to register your email with Light. They will first be focusing on serving those that pre-ordered two years ago, by shipping the devices starting July 14, 2017, and will probably take new orders later in the year. The L16 is priced at $1,699.
