+longgonebn Subscriber² Posted September 28, 2011 Subscriber² Share Posted September 28, 2011 I have been looking for an easy way to stream PC games, in HD quality (well as HD as it can get for Internet). Free of course. What are your suggestions? I want anyone to be able to watch, if they have an account for something or not. I had major issues getting games to work with Justin.tv, so exclude that option :)

Is this not something you want to do? www.youtube.com/user/shaun2312 Unlikely as he mentioned that he wanted live steaming. I know one of the guys in my guild worked out how to get a HD stream going although you will need a pretty powerful machine to do so. Will find out what he uses. 0 +longgonebn Subscriber² Posted September 28, 2011 Author Subscriber² Share Posted September 28, 2011 Alright, so exclude the HD part of it. Best quality possible. And for the first reply, streaming me playing games, not streamed games.

0 +longgonebn Subscriber² Posted October 4, 2011 Author Subscriber² Share Posted October 4, 2011 I know it can record video, but I see nothing about streaming? *edit It does appear to have that ability. Will test this now! Thanks.
0 +longgonebn Subscriber² Posted October 4, 2011 Author Subscriber² Share Posted October 4, 2011 It would appear that you have to be an Xfire member to view the stream. I need to be able to share the live stream to anyone.

0 +longgonebn Subscriber² Posted October 5, 2011 Author Subscriber² Share Posted October 5, 2011 Well the Xfire Broadcast feature is crap. It slows down my gaming way to much (i know a bit is expected) and even on a low setting (way below mY ISP) it's still very crappy looking. 0 xbamaris
Ive never seen a problem with Xfire Broadcast looking like crap... whatever issues you have with Xfire is going to be the same with any program that does the same thing... It has to copy frame by frame (30-60 frames per second) to the internet at the highest possible quality... its unlikely youre going to get any better than Xfire. 0 SimplySchizo
What you want is XSplit. I've been using this for a long time now. http://www.xsplit.com/ You'll have to register in order to be able to download the Beta. It's a very powerful yet simple application. It's free for the time being. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. And if you're really into streaming, you'll definitely end up buying once it goes paid.
