Calendar app with checkbox function

Recommended Posts

Can you guys help me out? I'm having trouble finding a calendar/todo app that does what I want.

I need one that allows me to create events that has the checkbox for me to check off once I'm done with the event. You guys are probably saying, why not just get a ToDo app?

I don't know why.... but every app... let's you choose a start/end time and location for an "Event".... but you can't choose a start/end time and location for "Tasks"

So basically, Tasks lets me check off what I've done.. Events let me choose a start/end time and location... I want one that let's me do both... I don't get why developers always separate the two..

Some other good features:

Calendar view

Ability to create folders to organize tasks/events

Homescreen badge that shows all upcoming tasks/events

The latest app I tried was Pocket Informant and it has that problem I mentioned above. If anybody knows an app that has what I'm looking for please let me know.. I've tried many calendar/todo apps and none of them do what I want.

    • Ironically, I do have audio engineering experience, but still find the different flavors of VB-Audio's VoiceMeeter (and more advanced options like Banana and Potato) to be a little unintuitive. Yes, I can figure them out, but despite having a UI that looks like an audio mixer, they don't exactly follow typical audio mixing conventions, so it takes a little time to figure out how the software works. Still, I feel like for what you are asking for, VoiceMeeter is a good solution. If you're interested, I could probably create a quick how-to video.
    • If it was not for AI push, you have a point but as I already use notepad++ and I really don’t see the need for all the extras in a damn NOTEPAD… I also disagree real notepad with pen does not offer spell check, so why NOTEPAD app should? you already have free Word online.. if this is what you need.
    • How is it "one of the best file managers in Windows"? It is slow as hell and crashes like it's the offspring of Windows Me
