Danrarbc
UmmmThere was a program on a second ago and they said that nintendo are stoping the production of gamecube games! The only game on gamecube worth getting is METAL GEAR SOLID : TWIN SNAKES! That's all I've got to say. They stopped GameCube production back in January to get rid of some stock they built up, but production is starting again very soon. GameCube games are still very much in production. Do yourself a favor and get very far way from that TV show/channel if they're giving information that bad. And I hope you've looked at the GameCube's entire 320 title long game list to come to your conclusion.

Danrarbc
Well I guess there's nothing wrong with Sky. The producers of Gamesville just need to hire geeks like us that would feel the need to correct someone for saying there were 30,000 PS2s sold last week, when only 28,963 were sold :p PS: The numbers aren't real before anyone says anything
morganpugh84
lps not too bad but gc does sucks lugias mansion? mario sunshine? you judge a console from 2 games? I can name more than 2 games for every games console ever that were crap. I admit those 2 games were a bit crap but games like Metroid Prime, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Zelda The Wind Waker, F-Zero GX and 1080 Avalanche how can you say that the console sucks?!

ramesees
Does anyone know when Gamecubes are going to be sold for ?79 in the UK yet?? I read an article last week saying that they would be getting cut soon, but so far they are still at ?129. Just curious thats all
psychoge3k
The Zelda game is the only game I like to play on the GameCube console--The other games (with the exception of Mertoid)--don't appeal to me. I pay $300AU just to play one or two Zelda games (or with the n64, GoldenEye, PD as well...), I play them out, and go back to my PC for my gaming choice ;). Too bad Rare was bought out by Microsoft.. I soooo would kill for PerfectDark2 or something. There sould be a new Zelda title comming out soon :D
Chi(mera)
Metroid Pime, Legend of Zelda ::Wind Waker::, Mega Man...etc These are just some of the reasons you should go out and purchase a GC, calssic titles already and make a fine addition to any gamers collection. Give it a shot.

ggareis
Nintendo has always been one step behind since N64 cuz their slow to adopt new technologies...ex integrating cd rom into their console and now a dvd player and hd... dont get me wrong I used to love nintendo but they have made some bad buisness decisions when it comes to hardware in my opinion
macrosslover
well they are finally doing something smart. one of the dumbest movies in the industry last year was when they didn't bundle until after the holidays and they got hammered for it and probably lost their chance of being #2 in europe. i hope they fired whatever fool thought that would be a good idea. however, now they are trying to do something right, but personally i don't think it will last. my theory is that alot of the people buying it are people who already have a gamecube aka diehard fans who want a second system for mario kart. when you look at the price "cut" it's still $150, because you still have to pay $50 for a new game, but now Nintendo is letting you choose the game instead of them. so in essence the system price is still $150 and i also agree with Microsoft when they said that they have always sold at a premium to the system and have outsold it at least in Europe and the States. when you compare it to the xbox bundle they end up being near the same price, when you add the cost of 1 game and 1 251 block memory card, that easily approaches $179, nevermind the fact that the Xbox has unlimited storage ability, comes with 2 games (crap yes but still 2 free games). so i don't think these sales will sustain past the first two weeks for mario kart's release.
