fekimoki
After spending some time browsing firewall related threads in neowin discussion center, I noticed that generaly you guys using Kerio PF & Zone Labs ZA. I installed KPF and my win2k3 wont boot; I dont like ZA because it seems have several probs on computer running httpserver (ics, apache). So i choosed Agnitum Outpost, and so far I don't like it, because sometimes my mIRC won't receive DCC from others (outpost sometimes block it, sometimes not), and it always asking the user to grant a permission on the same program over and over again (even the software was permanently permitted on the 'Allowed Software'). So any suggestion on firewall?

John Veteran Posted September 24, 2003 Veteran Share Posted September 24, 2003 what about ICF? it comes with server 2003, works fine if you're not using it as a server, and it doesn't cause any problems...

Frank
You don't want a software firewall for a server machine. I don't think he is using it as a server, I think he is using it as a workstation. It never made sense to me why people would want to run a server product on a workstation machine.
