mipra
Hi Guys, I have just seen a PCMCIA made by http://www.sierrawireless.com, and seems to me that their PCMCIA card has antenna attached on it. My question is...what is the difference between those card and a regular Wireless PCMCIA card, such as the Linksys, netgear, DLink PCMCIA card? What about the performance? Frank
The sierra card is to be used with cell phone service providers, or other wireless data providers. It will not work the same as the other wireless cards. Cards like Linksys and Dlink run off of 802.11b wireless signal, where the sierra will only work when hooked up with a provider.
