Daniel F. Administrators Posted September 25, 2003 Administrators Share Posted September 25, 2003 Neowin's sources are claiming to have seen an internal Microsoft timetable for Longhorn client. According to their tipsters, Microsoft has pegged an August 15,2005, release-to-manufacturing date on the product. If Microsoft were to make this date, the company could ship the product in calendar 2005. But does anyone think Redmond has a snowball's chance of hitting that target? I believe Microsoft still has a miniscule chance of a 2005 release, but only if it cuts some of the 700 new features (according to one of our sources) planned for the OS. http://www.microsoft-watch.com/
