thingsforjason
I have a friend who bought a burner for his little prebuilt HP machine, some cheap CenDyne 16x Burner... The Drive installs perfectly, but after you install Nero (which came w/ it) it spits out some "VXDLDR(05)" error. That's only if nero is installed AND a cd-rom drive is installed. Doesn't matter if it's his original drive or the burner. I uninstalled Nero and blew away the nero related VXD file, and we're back to where we started. I then tried to install DiscJuggler, but got some ASPI errors there too. Any ideas? I've tried ForceASPI, and it installs, but has trouble initializing...i'm stumped. He would wipe the system, but he bought the burner so he could back up all his junk. :dead:
