.KICK
Wow, that does look extremely impressive (Y) but still has a long way to go, saw a ss and the fps counter said 1.24fps
.....
People should work on the PSX/N64 emulators and get them working 99/100% like the SNES ones do, then try to get the DC one running at a decent framerate, and without glitches in my opinion. Guest Ryan
I still haven't had ther pleasure to play any N64 or PS2 emulation yet. :ninja:
forster
I still haven't had ther pleasure to play any N64 or PS2 emulation yet. :ninja: N64 is emulated pretty well, played Master Quest with no slowdown, and the characters were at a better resolution. Only PS2 emulator I played (cant remember the name) was really sluggish, I must admit the GC emulator looks like it's a good start ! :)
.....
Yeh, n64 emulation is good for the games that work, but most don't work correctly - same goes for psone. I've yet to find a snes game that doesn't work right on zsnes.
Tim Dorr Veteran Posted September 26, 2003 Veteran Share Posted September 26, 2003 What would be more interesting is if this was emulated on a mac. It actually wouldn't have to be emulation, because the processor instruction set is very similiar. It'd be more like an application layer and would run suprisingly fast... EmuZombie Veteran Posted September 26, 2003 Veteran Share Posted September 26, 2003 hah, anyone remember "nitemare" the supposed dreamcast emulator? (which was nothing but a hack nesticle, and proof could be seen if you opened up an nes rom in it :p )

Lingwo
The gamecube emulator is coming along really well as the xbox emulator is...shame at the moment you need a beast of a machine to run it at the moment i suppose there just getting it to emulate first. The Dreamcast emulators are still going they've got Shenmue to run it at full speed and looks niiice
Primalgoo
Some of you guys are unbelievable!! OMG this thing is in it's VERY early stages... It's nowhere near to being released and yet look at the progress these guys have already made!! An emulator isn't a program you can just 'whip up' in a few months.... Snes9x has taken at least 5 years to get to where it is today !!! GEEZ... - Primalgoo :alien:

Danrarbc
Looks like it's having a hell of a time trying to do the cel-shading. Maybe he should start with something more standard first.
