MPC-HC + Surround Sound

Question

With CCCP and Media Player Classic Home Cinema, when I watch videos I've downloaded, the audio only comes out of the front speakers. I have selected ffdshow audio codec > properties > mixer > expand stereo to surround but this does nothing. I want to hear the exact same thing in the rear speakers as the front speakers (i.e. no surround effects, an exact copy). VLC used to do it fine but I haven't been able to achieve this in MPC-HC.

Why do you use CCCP with MP:HC? You don't need any codec packs with MPC:HC.

It got all you need built in. And to get surround, you need to go to options > internal filters > double click the needed audio codec settings you want to change and select there under "decode to speakers" the "3+2", or any other setup that you have.
