pulp
i was wondering if anyone else noticed this bug, if you use the talk feature in windows messenger for an extended period of time, say like 2-3 hours non-stop it may cause your OS to totally freeze, this was the first time XP Pro ever froze on me since i installed it last Septemper. at first i thought maybe its something with my computer, but then a few minutes after my computer froze, i reconnected and we start voice talking again, and then my friend computer which is XP Home froze as well. so its not just my computer, and the issue happens with both XP home and Pro. i was wondering if anyone experienced this before? BroChaos Veteran Posted January 14, 2002 Veteran Share Posted January 14, 2002 hmmm, i got a BSOD after using voice and video for a while. i figured it was something to do with using MSN+ and the transparency i had on the video ::shrugs:: :ponder: maybe there is an issue, cuz i just kinda made myself believe that it was msn+, hehe. anyone else have any problems? and yeah, it was my first BSOD too. ciao! joe
pulp
thanks for the reply, and No i was not using msn+/messenger+ so the problem is in windows messenger itself. its also worth noting that i had messenger 4.0 while my friend used messenger 4.6 or whatever the latest is, yet both our computers froze after using the voice talk feature for awhile.
