soppychunk
OK, whenever I play an MP3 in windows media player or kazaa, within the first 5 seconds, I can noticably hear the pitch drop quite a bit. I'm not sure yet if the first pitch is right or after it switches but it really gets annoying and if anybody knows how to fix this or any ideas or anything please post. thanks o, and sorry, this probly should've gone in the help area but i wasn't sure which section to post in
Hypoxiaicon
is this any mp3? or just certain ones?

poind
Is this happening with things you've 100% ripped yourself? If not, could be a new preventative tactic. When dropping pitch, do they appear to slow in tempo, too?
hornett
Sounds more like a hardware problem to me. Maybe you should try playing the files on a different PC to check but I doubt it is the MP3s. Maybe borrow a friend's sound card and try that in your machine
soppychunk
it sounds like they might be slowing down a bit too, which is a feature on windows media player, so i'm guessing that's it. is there a way to make this stop?
