How Do I Remove the Google+ Link From Google Search?

Question

Hi on the default Google.co.uk search page at the extreme top left of the page there is a link to Google+. I imagine this is true for Google.com and all other Google search domains too. However I deleted my Google+ account. How do I remove this link too? I would rather it wasn't there now as I consider it unwelcomed advertising, as I will never use the service. Are there any greasemonkey scripts, or other ways to achieve this?

Ha, that's really weird. I've got the inverse. I do have a G+ account (not that I use it often), but the + link has been missing for a few months now. It used to be there, then one day it just went poof!

I actually can't believe people are so anal that they need the link removed.
