Anibal P
Just popped into my head that I use G Music and Spotify a lot for my music listening, did a quick search and didn't find one. So was wondering how hard would it be to integrate both into one media player like Foobar or something maybe even new. My coding experience is basic VB6 so it's not something I can create but I can't be the only one interested. I know there are things for G Music, like a "player" instead of going to the page, but I'm not sure Spotify allows extensions are other means of access to their API Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1038609-idearequest-spotify-and-google-music-integrated/ Share on other sites
iKenndac
Spotify has libspotify - it's a complete library that allows you to basically write your own Spotify client from scratch. Music streaming, playlists, everything. http://developer.spotify.com/ If Google Music is a locker service, you can probably find an app to sync the files to a place on your computer(s) and use Spotify's local files feature to play them in Spotify. I keep my local MP3s to play in Spotify synced between my machines using Dropbox, and it works pretty well. Syanide
http://projects.fenryxo.cz/Nuvola_Player/Main_page/ This player currently supports Google Music, GrooveShark and a couple of other services. I'm fairly certain they'll add Spotify support sooner or later, keep an eye on it. Problem: Linux only, but if you have some coding experience you could see about porting it to Windows.
