autodefe
That would be the error 21 message, no? Could you supply more detailed information? This usually appears (afaik) when your ms dashboard has been altered.

Wolfhound
I have gotten this message twice in the past, both times I had to send my x-box out, and both times they formatted my hard drive. I assume it has something to do with a corrupted game save file... though I can't be positive. It's really a big pain in the ass.

ozgeek
Hi...I had that messege on my old xbox. I just bought a new xbox. Never had any error messeges ever since. :ninja: Did you check out the technical forums at forums.xbox.com? That question is very common at the xbox forums. Edited September 28, 2003 by Jason Roberts

Defiantly
Of course your Xbox needs service. It needs to be upgraded to the latest PC if you want to enjoy all of the latest technology that has been introduced since 1999! You have a 733MHz Pentium 3 and a library of juvenile, simplistic and "out-of-the-box is all you get" games. Service your own console; buy a gaming PC and see what you've been missing... a_witko
Defiantly: To be honest, they say PC graphics rule, but because a TV isn't as clear as a PC monitor, you dont see jaggerred edges etc... it makes the games look awesome. PCs are only good for shooting games like CS, where not even the nice xbox hand controller can beat a mouse.

Service your own console; buy a gaming PC and see what you've been missing... Quite simply, it's much easier for most people to justify spending 200 dollars on a console than spending 1000 dollars (minimum) on a game console. Especially when the games they wish to play are available for that console. Also, a lot of game manufacturers now are refusing to develop games for the PC on the simple basis of the ease of piracy. Sure the graphics can be better on a PC, so what? Graphics don't make a game great, gameplay does. And you'd be hardpressed to argue that there is more recent good games for the PC than there is for the consoles, and the ones that are available for PC usually come out for console as well. So perhaps you should buy a console, and see what you're missing.

Boffa Jones Veteran Posted September 30, 2003 Veteran Share Posted September 30, 2003 Nice. Joe User 99
Uh...you could just send it to me! :D Seriously...if you wanna try and fix it, go here: http://www.llamma.com/xbox/parts.htm A replacement DVD isn't cheap, but it's cheaper than service (at least if you get the Thompson), or a new XBox. pshhh why don't i just go buy a new one... *sigh* being broke sucks
