0 +BudMan MVC Posted November 25, 2011 MVC Share Posted November 25, 2011 Well grab 3 dvds and burn like 1/3 of the photos on each -- seems pretty straight forward to me ;) Any software will work, even the built in burner can do that.
0 Nick H. Supervisor Posted November 25, 2011 Supervisor Share Posted November 25, 2011 Imgburn seems to be the way forwards, although I've found that using the built-in Windows burner does the trick just as well, it just takes a bit of calculation on your end rather than letting an application do it for you. 0 +Xinok Subscriber² Posted November 25, 2011 Subscriber² Share Posted November 25, 2011 I want to burn vacation photo ..almost size 10 gb ....into mutiple dvds . each dvd size 4.7 gb. which software can help me to burn photos into multiple disks ? how do I do that ? "Almost 10gb", so it might fit on two DVDs rather than three. Give this program a try, see if it can arrange the files onto two discs: https://sourceforge.net/projects/discfit/
0 tuneslover
You can use Picasa (Free) or ACDSee (Commercial). They are very easy.

0 TEX4S
choose the 2nd - when its done - see what the last pic was - then make the following pic the 1st on the next disc - this is really common sense stuff
0 Deep_Level_Shark
When I choose option 2 and try to write I get this error message
0 TEX4S
well - grab a version of Ashampoo - use the 10 day trial of their Studio 10 - it has the best GUI of all of them. Make your DVD - then uninstall it - or buy it. If you look around you can find a "coupon" to get it for free. (I think you have to let them send you emails) http://www.ashampoo.com/en/usd/pin/2610/Burning_Software/Ashampoo-Burning-Studio-
0 Deep_Level_Shark
ashampoo installer is quite big to download . Is there any light weight tool ?
0 TEX4S
cdburnerxp - its pretty small - and its free I used it for a long time - then used ashampoo. Now I have no need for discs @ home - I use Ashampoo @ wk. when I need to make something for someone. I know it doesnt help you with your current project - but if you havent already - check out some free cloud storage. I have a Pro account with Mediafire, and a paid-for account with SugarSync. If I were to lose my computers, and everything in my home - the pics - the stuff that cant be replaced - will all be safe. If you're already doing this - then my apologies. But the cool thing is - I can throw a bunch of files (programs, pics, docs, etc) in a folder & share that folder with everyone or particular people. Here is this: http://www.burnaware...aware_free.html, Also infrarecorder is small and can do multiple disc jobs. This is small - didnt see this one ? http://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tools/Data-CD-DVD-Burning/Ashampoo-Burning-Studio-Free.shtml Its the free Ashampoo - 16MB
0 Deep_Level_Shark
I have downloaded cdburnerxp already ...If it really helps to burn multiple DVD's ...then fine . just tell me the steps how it can be done using this tool. As I'm in a slow internet connection I can not download heavy sized files and so I have to pick a light weight tool to serve my purpose.
0 Nick H. Supervisor Posted November 28, 2011 Supervisor Share Posted November 28, 2011 If you're struggling this much, I would really suggest you just use the standard windows burning app, and burn each DVD one at a time. It might be more time consuming, but at least it is simple.
0 +BudMan MVC Posted November 28, 2011 MVC Share Posted November 28, 2011 I am just dumbfounded that the OP would be still dicking with this 2 days after his original post? Why do you need some software to do this? If you have more than 2 dvds worth of pics (10GB), then go with 3 and just roughly divide the photos into 3 groups lets call them 3.3GB each and burn those to disk either using whatever burner software you already have downloaded and or the built in burner and be done with it. Sorting the pictures into 3 groups that will each fit on a dvd would take you what about 2 minutes tops? I am quite sure it took you longer to download some of the apps suggested if your on slow internet than it would of taken you to just sort your pics into 3 groups that each fit on 1 dvd.
