antsy Posted November 29, 2011 Share Posted November 29, 2011 The last time I came across software this bad it was Sonic Stage, do Sony purposefully go about making crappy Software? When I first connected my Xperia Mini Pro phone to my PC I showed up as a camera or scanner, but somehow it installed PC companion to my PC. Anyway once on there PC companion told me there was no phone detected eventually I realised I had to switch it to MSC to get the Software to see the phone, So when I try to update it first tells me to disconect the memory card, then it tells me to tap "Change to media Transfer Mode (MTP)" for a start there is no such option, but I assume I'm supposed to tap "switch to MTP mode" but when I do that it just disconnects the phone and brings up the found camera dialogue in windows again. Oh no **** I already knew I'm supposed to be in MSC mode to be connected why does it keep on telling me to switch to MTP mode? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
