can't remove friends on facebook?

From FB's help pages:

To unfriend someone:

1. Go to that person's profile (timeline)
   
2. Hover over the Friends box at the top of their profile (timeline)
   
3. Click Unfriend
   

When I go to somebody's page and mouse over the "Friends" box, nothing happens. When I mouse over the "subscribed" box next to it, I get a drop down menu, so I know my browsers are working. I've tried this in FF, Safari, and Chrome with the same results on all of them.

Is there ANY other way to remove a friend?

Their support page is apparently wrong. ;) Instead, go to your own profile, then open up the Friends list. Hover over a person's picture, then over the Friend button, then select Unfriend.

If that doesn't work for you, make sure you have the latest Flash player installed, and maybe try a different browser.

Or you can go to your friends profiles and there are boxes near the top right, the first box says friends with a check mark, click on it, and you will see "unfriend" as an option. verify. done.

How about deleting lists?

The Timeline upgrade might have something to do with it.

Click on "Friends", then there's a little x next to each name in my friends list that deletes them :s
