Home burns while firefighters watch, again

I would have just paid my $75. It's not like it's that much per year. I would understand if it was $75 per month, but it's per a year. If you can't afford that, you deserve to live in a flat, or mobile home.

Putting it even more into perspective, it calculates out to 20.5 cents a day.

There's no such thing as over population. Just gross mismanagement of resources.

Exactly my point there.

if city is short of budget and you dont want property tax to go up and give fire protection as voluntary policy rather than making it mandatory then it your fault to not have any insurance.

Yet again, we are talking about people who are outside the city.

They did live in a mobile home.

"But that's hard to stomach when you've just lost your home and everything you've worked for."

When you're stupid enough to not pay a small fee to protect "everything you've worked for" against fire, you deserve to lose it.

One of the other articles states they were not allowed to pay the fine by law. they lived in a trailer which cannot be insured so without home insurance they cannot pay the fee.

There fore they could not pay the fee even if they wanted to.
