DrunkenMaster
the soundtrack by Hotei Tomoyasu, in the background of the trailer is spine tingling...had to add that to my collection... QT's work will be AWESOME!!!!.... I'll have to check out the soundtrack. IMO, as a martial arts fan, I think this does a lot to discredit the genre (as much as some Chuck Norris, Steven Segal ones and Van Dam). I think if they're going to make a movie with tons of (Katana) sword fighting they should at least do it to pay respect to the millions who've died in combat using them. So no, I'm not watching it. Unless, I'm *REALLY* bored and go to the video store.
SimplyPotatoes
this looks nice, all the previews are rated for everyone so no blood , at least none i saw. the actors are all good so im hoping it will be a great movie. i just want to know what happens at that preview where the black mom and the girl in yellow are knife fighting i mean does she kill the mother, thats mean :(

aaron901
I think Tarantino cast a bunch of mediocre-to-weak actors. Lucy Liu? Vivica A. Fox? Darryl Hannah? And Uma Thurman does not convey "badass" the way Sam Jackson and Pam Grier did in Tarantino's previous movies. I fear two things. First, as a consequence of the dearth of acting talen most of the movie will consist in stale Yuen Wo Ping wire-fu fight scenes. Second, whatever time is leftover for Tarantino-esque dialogue will be given **** delivery by said mediocre-to-weak actors. hmm yeah let's get pam to play "the bride" uma is playing, and get sam to play the bald chinese guy with the black mask, sounds good heh.. :/ geez.. nowimnothing
it is going to flop in the box office, not in the eyes of QT fans. QT has a fanbase built upon his success of reservoir dogs and pulp fiction which are an alternate voilent version of stylish movies. but remember, the biggest hit that QT ever had at the BO was Pulp Fiction and this movie , from all the reviews from fox to even Aint it cool say its NO pulp fiction, close but no cigare. 107 million was the earning of Pulp fiction and it wasnt carried much by style but by the superb cast, Bruce Willis, Samuel L Jackson, John Travolta and Uma Thurman, compare thier acting skills to the acting skills of Lucy Lu, the Bill guy and again Uma Thurman who is more known for her looks than her acting skills, sure there will be classy dialogue, but most people who see this movie will be only QT fans25 million dollar opening 60 million dollar its total gross of volume 1 However, you have to remember that at the time that Pulp Fiction came out, many of those "stars" had been in a slump. In many cases, this was a movie that pushed them back into the mainstream. Whats to say that this movie doesn't do the same for pushing these people into the spotlight (or further into the spotlight). I'll be looking forward to this movie, because i don't care whats considered a box office flop as long as I consider it to be a good movie, and i think this one has potential to fulfill that. Mysterio
I love all the couch-potato critics...you form a judgement about this work after having watched a 2 min plus trailer??? Write your bloody views AFTER having WATCHED the flic!!!
Marc A.
When I first saw the trailer, I instantly fell in porn-love with the asian/chinese/japanese (whichever) girl they briefly show fighting Uma. She's on some steps in a little school uniform swinging a huge spiked ball on a chain around... ...dunno, something about that combination makes my body happy all over.
