VPNs

With what features? Do you want just PPTP, or openvpn, L2TP IPsec - do you want the ability to change vpn endpoint. Do you want support for your router, or software on your client. What OS, windows, linux, os x, freebsd?

Might well ask what the best food to eat is ;)

Without details of your likes/requirements your question is completely and utterly pointless.

I might tell you the best thing on the planet to eat is peanuts, and your allergic to peanuts.

But I am sure you will get a flood of different vpn companies with no thought rhyme or reason to why they posted them and say they are the best for no other reason than the fact that is who they use, or have heard of.

Would be looking at L2TP IPsec, that would support both router and software, OS is Windows and Linux

Well that is something to go off of.. Do you need any specific country? Do you want dynamic IP or static, shared?

Well from his post, multiple countries does not seem to be a requirement for him.

Take a look at bestvpnservice.com -- looks like they let you compare lots and lots of different vpn providers, so here I took overplay vs strong vs vpnuk

http://www.bestvpnse...N-VS-VPNUK.html

Look like strongvpn wins -- but then again it comes down to what exact features you want, and price, trust, etc.

Also you have not actually given the reason your looking for a vpn provider in the first place.

BTW - from that comparison list, does not seem like overplay provides for dynamic ip? Maybe I am reading it wrong?

What are you wanting to accomplish with use of the VPN? I for example run my own vpn on my home router with openvpn. So I can always use that from where I am at remotely if worried about the local network, or just use my work vpn, etc.

But maybe your looking to circumvent a specific IP block, or hide traffic from your ISP or circumvent throttling they are doing? There was a thread not far back from someone else in the UK where their ISP did some serious throttling that he gets around by using a vpn. Is this what your after?
