I am running windows 7 pro and can change the default audio output from the sound options. I have my usb headset as the default and just unplug them when i want the audio to come from my main speakers.
most applications recognize that the default is unplugged or plugged and automatically switch to the speakers. However, chrome doesn't do this... I don't know why but chrome only gives me sound on whatever device was the default when i launched chrome. it doesn't care if i change the default....
is there a way to fix this? can you replicate it on your machine or is it just me? it's very annoying to have to close everything down just so i can get sound from a different set of speakers.
