No connection on start-up or restart

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if you guys the minimal amount of services to run on start-up that will not kill my connection on a restart or shut down? I can't seem to figure out which service is needed for this to happen, and the ones I turned off don't really say anything about it (really only turned off messenger and the xp firewall).

I have a router if that means anything, but it's basically the pc not getting the IP, it tells me it fails to connect and I then have to reset my router or turn it off and back on to get it to work.

Any ideas??

Nvm, I turned on a few services when I checked for them in dependacies, seems to be working...

Still would like a bare minimal list though if you know about that.. ;)

same website has some WIZARD good rules for setting up e-mail filters.. to manage an active web based account without exposing oneself to virii and spending minimal time wading spam. very useful to anyone who wishes security without a ton of time investment or expensive (slow) mail scanning.. efficient.
