Best free backup software for Windows?

Question

I know there is a thread for the best backup but that thread involves mostly paid software and Windows Backup is limited in Windows XP as in you cant get a backup everyday at 9AM (you can but you have to setup a Task and etc etc)

So what is the best free backup software for Windows?

If you only want to back up your personal files, and not your whole system, you could try out Comodo Backup. I've never used it personally, but Comodo are known for their firewall and security software, and it's a company name I recognize.

If you want to back up your entire system, so that in the event of a system crash you can restore it like new, then I recommend Clonezilla.

Depends on how and what to back up. I personally use Spideroak for cloud storage. Its encrypted n secure so only you see your stuff. My sig has a referral link to get an extra gig of space(6 gigs initially, 1 gig per referral).

Theres an open sourced app called Free File Sync which is good to, im not sure about scheduling, but i use it to keep my tv shows/movies/music sync'd across my PC's and its updated pretty regularly so its very active in development.

Hello,

If you are looking for disk imaging software as a form of backup, there is Clonezilla.
