Error Message - More Data is Available - Windows Server 2008 r2

Recommended Posts

I've currently got Windows Server 2008 r2 installed in a virtual machine (the host OS being Ubuntu Server 10.10). I've got a shared folder set up (through virtualbox) so that it appears within the VM as a networked share and allows me to pass files inbetween the host and guest.

What I've been striving to achieve is get a full backup of the VM from with itself. Note - suggesting that I just copy the VDI file or whatever is not useful in this situation sadly. Long story.

I get through all the options, but finally, when I click 'backup', the progress bar fills within 5 seconds and this appears -

Any idea what's going wrong? :/

Thanks and regards,

C3ntury.

Look in Event Viewer, that "More data is available" means there must be must be some more info somewhere so I would start there.

That might help to shed some light on it. Also if you could give us some detail on exactly what you are trying to back up (files, folders, etc) and where you are trying to back it up to
