Help to use Acronis True Image properly - from system crash for e.g.

Question

I've got Acronis True Image Home 2011 & i've just backed up my entire PC. This consists of:

C: physical SSD drive - OS installed (Win7 64bit)

D: physical drive who's sole purpose is to store backups. 1TB.

E: non-physical (whatever the correct term is?!). A partition of "F" Drive. Has WinXP installed.

F: physical drive - Win7 installed.

G: non-physical drive - used to store files (mp3s, photos etc) & also used to install programs on to maximise space on SSD ©.

I know this isn't how some people will arrange theirs, but this is how mine is arranged. I don't want to stick on the arrangement of this, so moving on....

Let's say "C" drive totally failed. How do i get in & use my backup to restore everything back to normal?

Let's say "C" just got a virus & wouldn't boot to windows & needed restoring ... how would i use the backup stored on "E" to do this?

I've never properly used Acronis, so help is, well, helpful.

How do i create a bootable media disk? Do i do this from within Acronis? Win7? Some 3rd party program?

Also, if i select ALL drives to install, i'm assuming everything will be replaced back to it's last backed up state (as i backed up the entire drive, not just files & folders)

Thanks for the quick reply :)

It seems the answer is yes. I would've thought not as everything seems to be limiting the consumer these days - making them pay out even more money.

Just a question on this: If you back up a partition (i.e. C drive) does it back up EVERYTHING on that partition (including emails stored in windows live mail)?

Reason i ask is i've noticed a separate part of acronise where you can backup email.
