Last Pass Alternative

Question

Been a long time Last Pass user and love it. No application needs to be installed, access everywhere, even from my Android phone.

Problem is, to use it with my Android phone I have to pay the yearly price. I am looking for an alternative that is free.

I know there are lot's of password programs, but I want one like Last Pass where it's an extension for Firefox & Chrome, all cloud based, and also has an Android application.

Anything out there?

Thanks.

I use Keepass 2 with Spideroak (Spideroak is similar to Dropbox), which has an Android client. I download my desktop password database via Spideroak, and then use the Keepass Android client to view my passwords. This is way too complicated, even for me, but I don't like the idea of storing my passwords on someone elses database, so I'm stuck with it for now.

Why not just pay for premium, I mean, it's only $12US a year, I probably throw that away in change over the course of a year, and if you like their service, why not contribute back?

Yea I have been paying that for awhile. And I do believe in contributing good companies.

Just trying to cut back. Your idea is an option. Thanks.

Hi guys, I use RoboForm. Started using it about a year ago when my daughter told me about password managers. She told me her company, Wells Fargo, uses roboform so I decided to try it. I love my roboform, i have cloud access so I can get to my passwords on any device at any time. I even use it on my Android and my ipad.

I use lastpass on all my desktop devices and love it. Was living without it on my BB since I really don't do much surfing with it, etc.

But I juts paid the $12 for year of lastpass prem when I started playing my new kindle fire -- my passwords are too complex to actually type out ;) And loved that it had version that integrates with dolphin, and just have the plain jane android one on there as well. And now can put on my blackberry since paying for prem and you can use on as many devices as you want.

I think your going to be hard pressed to find something as well developed and maintained as lastpass for such a low price. I'm all for using free when its available and quite often even better than the pay stuff - but with lastpass they get you if you want to use on mobile devices ;)

Looking at 1Password and I am wondering if it's a one time payment, or yearly? That might be an option. (Yes I know it's not an extension, but program, but )
