Share Desktop to TV

Question

Hi all,

I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this. If not, moderator kindly move it for me please. Thanks.

Ok, here goes.

I have a TV that is hooked up to my home network. I want to be able to use my TV as a secondary monitor because sometimes I watch SOPCAST or Justin.tv sports on my computer. I want to be able to watch them on my TV instead of my small monitor.

Is there anyway I can do it?

I do not have graphic card with duo output and I do not want to wire another DVI cable to my TV so this option is out.

Is there any way I can stream my desktop to my TV through the home network?

Thanks in advance!

Regards

Don

Depending on the specific website, tvarsity and playon will be able to stream what you want to your TV but they require a DLNA capable device on the receiving end. so either your TV needs to be able to do this or you need a PS3 or xbox360 or something similar.

just sharing your desktop.... I bet microsoft is working on this one.
