RadishTM Veteran Posted October 2, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 2, 2003 That's exactly the same as downloading it off the net, loss of quality, no packaging. What's the point? Some of us take a little pride in owning stuff that isn't contained on non branded blank optical media on a spindle... Exactly, I'd rather have the genuine media than a copy .... Radish? Dazzla Veteran Posted October 2, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 2, 2003 Same, I'll only burn the DVD if it's not available at retail, like the reloaded dvd a month or 2 ago etc. If it's worth downloading and burning then watching, it's worth buying. xEonBuRn
Big deal... when I worked for blockbuster we'd get new movies a week in advance... and for movies of this caliber (big things like Matrix and LOTR) we'd get them two weeks in advance... and employees could buy or rent them. Boffa Jones Veteran Posted October 3, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 3, 2003 i owudl love to buy them but i woudl rather have dvd cases that dont make me vomit in rage. I cannot stand the snap ones liek the first matrix one. And the extras are garbage for a movie of matrix' calibur (whether you liked it or no)
KeR
I want the DVD even though Reloaded sucked big time, still Revolutions looks much better.
Chris Allen Veteran Posted October 3, 2003 Veteran Share Posted October 3, 2003 I just got home from seeing Matrix - Reloaded on IMAX. Now that was fun. Almost too big of a screen though....almost. I seemed to manage, though I still seem to have wet my pants...

I really hope they include Animatrix... cause as you can see.. they interact ;) It'll be way more then 3. I'm expecting a minimum of 6, 2 per film and if they wanna make more then the 3 generic releases put together then there better be more then 6 discs. Radish?
Got3n
Hey, i resent that radish, lol j/k, i download all my series from tv on my computer, but i still buy the DVD box sets, its more satisfying.

It'll be burnt onto a single layer DVDR hence much lower quality, subtitles will most likely be ripped out (my mums partially deaf) and the case will be come cheap cover printed on a freaking injet. I know these things, my market sells them!
