Mozilla Firefox Downloads

Question

I had to go re-download Firefox today, I was on the homepage, and I wasn't phished or anything, but the downloads were being called from .JP, .RU, .EDU, .MY, etc TDLs. Is this normal behavior? I always thought the download came straight from Mozilla.org. I'm confused.

It's perfectly normal behaviour. The Firefox downloads are served from various mirror servers located all over the globe.

Thanks. Seeing that, plus the new (ugly) Firefox page layout, I was thrown off a bit. IE9 didn't flag the page and MSE didn't flag the file, so I feel better now.
